WILDLIFE CRUISES
I have teamed up with a local boat operator to offer a variety of cruises to different destinations along the coast. The Berwickshire coast is spectacular when viewed from land, but you have not really seen it and its wildlife in its full glory until you have seen it from the sea!
We sail out of Eyemouth where the floating pontoons and the boat’s step-aboard access means our trips are suitable for folk who are less physically abled. The boat has seating for all with plenty of space to move around and get the best views. We also have a toilet on board. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
Our cruises last from 1 hour to 3 hours depending on the destination. Patience is a virtue when you are wildlife watching, and the longer you are out on the sea, the more chance you have of seeing something exciting. Because we want you to get the best wildlife experience possible, and don't want to disturb the wildlife, we take our time, giving you a chance to really savour your time out at sea.
You can either book onto a public cruise (May to September) or, if there is a group of you, book the whole boat for a private cruise. Please get in touch to arrange a suitable date and time.
Wildlife Cruise to St Abb's Head
An hour and a half cruise up to St Abb's Head National Nature Reserve to experience the sights, sounds and smells of internationally important seabird colony there. We will also enjoy seeing the picturesque village of St Abbs, St Abb's Head lighthouse, and some truly incredible scenery. On all of our cruises there is a chance of seeing porpoises and dolphins.
Cost: Adult £35, Child (under 14) £25, Whole boat (max 12 people) £380.
Wildlife Cruise to Burnmouth
An hour's cruise down the coast to the pretty village of Burnmouth to visit the colony of seals that haul out on the rocks at low tide. Other highlights will include spectacularly folded rocks, sea caves as well as seabirds and on all of our cruises there is a chance of seeing porpoises and dolphins.

Sunset Cruise to Fast Castle
A 2 hour cruise up the coast to Fast Castle. On this cruise not only can you enjoy everything you will experience on a cruise to St Abb's Head, but add to that fabulously folded rocks and scenery that you just can't see from land, plus the ruins of Fast Castle and a chance to watch the sun set over the sea on the return journey. On all of our cruises there is a chance of seeing porpoises and dolphins.

Wildlife & Geology Cruise to Siccar Point
A 3 hour cruise up the coast to the birthplace of modern geology. On this cruise we will pass St Abb's Head, Fast Castle and Redheugh before reaching the world famous Siccar Point. The headland is best viewed from the sea just as James Hutton saw it when he first discovered it. You will have both a wildlife and a geology guide on board, between them and the skipper they can tell you just about anything you want to know about the Berwickshire coast!
Cost: £60 per person, whole boat (max 10 people) £600.
